Public Data Release
1700 GMT 18 December 2007Over 17,000 archival data frames from the Liverpool Telescope have this week been released for public access and may be downloaded by anyone from the LT data archive.
Until now, all data obtained in TAG sanctioned time has remained password protected in the data archive for access only by the PI of the project concerned. The observing policy for the Liverpool Telescope requires however that all data acquired by the telescope are released for public access twelve months after the completion of observing for the programme under which they were obtained.
This data release covers all data from first light in 2004 up until August 2006, with the exception of ongoing long term proposals which remain password protected as before. Please note that calibration data, standards etc are always immediately made publicly available.
